Moses is a graduate of the University of New South Wales law school and was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 1998. Moses has previously worked at Commercial Radio Australia and law firms Andersen Legal and Gilbert and Tobin in Sydney.
Much of his practice involves providing strategic advice and contracts to help clients protect and commercialise their ideas, inventions, creations, brands or technologies. He draws on his involvement on company boards and committees to advise clients on corporate governance issues.
Moses has considerable experience in the advertising sector and advises clients on advertising and consumer protection laws, defamation and passing off and also provides sign-off for advertising campaigns or copy. He also has significant experience in advising media clients in relation to broadcast and online content regulation under the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 and media industry codes of practice.
Moses has experience as successful a lobbyist in the media sector and in assisting media clients in their interactions with industry regulators like the Australian Communications and Media Authority.
Moses has presented seminars on copyright, broadcasting regulation and consumer protection laws both in Australia (including at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School) and overseas.
