Adam's practice focuses on the needs of national and international corporations in the entertainment, arts and technology industries. His clients include film and music distributors, book and magazine publishers, production companies, music publishers, games and software developers and distributors and a wide range of other copyright-based businesses.

In his role as a music lawyer, Adam is convenor of the Contemporary Music Working Group (CMWG). The CMWG represents the collective and strategic interests of the Australian contemporary music industry and is currently engaging with State and Federal Government.

Adam is regularly called upon by the media for comment and analysis of the legal issues surrounding current events such as film and music piracy and entertainment industry disputes. He has been on the Board of Viscopy, the collecting society for visual artists, and the Music Council of Australia, who he continues to act for as their Legal and Copyright Councillor. He is also a member the Game Developers Association of Australia, the International Trademark Association and the Copyright Society of Australia and a pro-bono lawyer at the Arts Law Centre of Australia.

Adam was recently nominated as one of Australia's 1000 "best and brightest" to attend the nation's 2020 Summit and participated in the Creative Stream in helping stimulate ideas about the future of Australia's arts, entertainment and creative sectors.
