Simpsons is proud to be partnering with Screen Producers Australia and supporting the inaugural Simpsons Pitching Competition at Screen Forever 40.
The Simpsons Pitching Competition is a new on-stage pitching competition that is designed to support the development of outstanding feature film projects.
Open to practising feature film producers, the competition will give four finalists the opportunity to present their in-development projects to an esteemed industry jury, live on stage at SCREEN FOREVER 40 on 28 April 2026. The winning project will receive:
- A cash prize of $10,000 towards development costs;
- Legal services valued at $3,000; and
- Meetings with potential marketplace partners at the SPA Connect In-Person Market.
Applications open today, Monday, 23 February 2026 and close Sunday, 23 March 2026.
